Nicholas James Vujicic popularly known as Nick Vujicic is a famous American/Australian motivational speaker, author, writer, Christian evangelist, philanthropist and a humanitarian born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of arms and legs. He was born on 4^th December 1982 in Melbourne, Australia.

He is currently 35 years old. His father’s name is Dušanka Vujičić and his mother’s name is Borislav Vujičić. They are both Serbian immigrants from Yugoslavia. Nick Vujicic is currently based in the United States of America, where he is focused in his Christian evangelism, humanitarian campaign and public speaking engagement. In 2012, he got married to Kanae Miyahara and the marriage is blessed with four lovely kids namely Olivia Mei Vujicic, Kiyoshi James Vujicic, Dejan Levi Vujicic and Ellie Laurel Vujicic.

Nick Vujicic attended Runcorn State High School in Australia and obtained his High School Certificate. After completing his high school education, Nick Vujicic proceeded to Griffith University in Australia and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Planning.

Unfortunately, Nick Vujicic was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder (called phocomelia) characterized by the absence of arms and legs. He is one of the seven known surviving individuals known in the planet worldwide who currently live with the syndrome. His early childhood has been characterized with pain, depression, sadness, frustration and bullies by fellow school mates due to his physical appearance. When he was 8 years old, he attempted suicide twice but was saved by his parents.

In 2004, Nick Vujicic began his career as a motivational speaker, using his circumstance as a medium of inspiration to motivate and inspire people to live a positive and self fulfilling life. According to his autobiography, his mother refused to see or hold him while the nurse held him in front of her, but she and her husband eventually accepted their son’s condition and understood it as “God’s plan for their son”. Nick Vujicic has two small and deformed feet, one of which he calls his “chicken drumstick” because of its shape.

Originally, he was born with the toes of that foot fused. So an operation was performed to separate the toes so that he could use them as fingers to grab, turn a page, or perform other functions. He has been able to use his foot to operate an electric wheelchair, a computer and a mobile phone.

Nick Vujicic thrived in his teenage and young adult years despite being bullied. After his mother showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability when he was 17 years old, he started to give talks at his prayer group. At the age of 21 years old, Nick Vujicic graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and Financial Planning.

On 30^th January 2011, Nick Vujicic while speaking during the session “Inspired for a Lifetime” at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland inspired more than one million people. In 2005, Nick Vujicic founded “Life Without Limbs” an international non-profit organization and ministry. In 2007, he founded Attitude is Altitude, a secular motivational speaking company.

In 2010, Nick Vujicic starred in the short film “The Butterfly Circus”. At the 2010 Methodist Fest Independent Film Festival, Nick Vujicic was awarded the Best Actor in a Short Film for his amazing performance where he played the role of Will at the 2010 short film “The Butterfly Circus” a short movie which was shot in the United States of America.

In August 2011, Nick Vujicic secular motivational speaking company “Attitude is Altitude released a single and music video by Nick Vujicic titled “Something More”. His tenets of faith include the imminent Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In 2006, Nick Vujicic moved to California in the United States of America, where he currently lives with his family.

In 2008 in McKinney, Texas, near Dallas in the United States of America, Nick Vujicic met with Kanae Miyahara, a Mexican-born model, based in Texas, United States of America and who is the youngest daughter of a Japanese agricultural engineer and a Mexican mother based in Texas, United States of America and they both fell in love and started a relationship.

At that time, Kanae Miyahara had come to hear him give a motivational speech. Happily, on 12^th February 2012, Nick Vujicic and Kanae Miyahara got married. The couple currently has four children namely Kiyoshi James, Dejan Levi and an identical twin daughter namely Olivia Mei and Ellie Laurel. The family lives in southern California in the United States of America.

Nick Vujicic has written several books which have sold million copies worldwide. His first book “Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life” was published by Random House in 2010 and has been translated into over 30 languages. In 2005, he markets a motivational DVD “Life’s Greater Purpose” which is a short documentary film. The second part of the DVD was filmed at his local church in Brisbane. Nick Vujicic is currently the most popular motivational speaker in the whole world.

Nick Vujicic is currently one of the richest and most influential personality in the United States of America with an estimated net worth of $500,000.
