According to the words of Major Abubakar Abdullahi; “It should be noted that, contrary to IPOB/ESN propaganda video, there was no incident of indiscriminate firing or unprovoked burning of houses during the raid.” The statement said
Major Abubakar Abdullahi further stated that investigations into the video were ongoing to ascertain when and where it was shot and those involved. The statement warned that any personnel found culpable would be sanctioned accordingly.
He said an update would be communicated when an investigation is completed and advised members of the public to disregard propaganda materials intended to mislead the public.
