Nina Ivy Chinonso Onyenobi popularly known as Nina Ivy is a former Big Brother Naija housemate and 4th Runner-Up in the 2018 Big Brother Naija TV Reality Show. She is currently a model, a singer, an actress, a makeup artiste and a fashion enthusiast. She was born on 31st May 1995 in the city of Owerri, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 23 years old.

She is very beautiful, gifted, skillful, creative and talented. After completing her primary and secondary school education in Owerri, Nina proceeded to Imo State University in Owerri and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literary Studies.

Before the Big Brother Naija TV Reality Show, Nina was just a regular young lady with a big and ambitious dream to become famous. She was born into a family of five children. She is the last daughter among her siblings. 

She has a special love for acting, modeling and fashion. Nina was a former beauty pageant contestant. She participated in the IMSU Most Beautiful Face in 2015 and lost the crown to Sandra Joseph.

Nina rose to fame after emerging as the 4th Runner-Up in the 2018 Big Brother Naija Television Reality Show. Nina is an extroverted person. She enjoys talking to people and interacting with them.

She also loves singing. When she was asked to describe herself, she simply said that she is not a pretentious young woman and that she cannot tolerate people who are too proud of themselves or people who often lie.

According to her, her favorite singer is Wizkid and she enjoys listening to his music in her free time. According to her, her favorite food is spaghetti. When she was signing up for Big Brother Naija, she said that she wants to bring her acting talent in the house.

She also added that if she wins the Big Brother Naija show, she would like to pay her tithe, help her family financially and invest the money in business to help herself.

She lasted 85 days in the house. While in the house, she received 37 nominations and won two challenges. She later became the finalist of the Big Brother Naija 2018 and was placed as the 4th Runner-Up in the competition.  

After the Big Brother Naija show, Nina signed some profitable deals and endorsement with top brands in Nigeria. For example, she got an endorsement deal with the beauty supply store “Flawless By Mimi” who expressed their desire to make her their brand ambassador. The store representatives spoke very highly of Nina, saying that she is beautiful and true to herself and that she will always be the winner for them.

While still in the Big Brother Naija house, Nina was involved in a romantic relationship with fellow housemate Miracle. Although, after winning the crown, Miracle later claimed that they are not in any romantic relationship, instead they are just casual friends.

However, Nina and Miracle were really close in the Big Brother Naija house and were caught many times kissing each other. However, reports revealed that Nina had a boyfriend named Collins, the guy she has being with before signing for the Big Brother Naija show, and who was waiting for her at home. The guy helped her to fund her trip from Owerri to Lagos for the Big Brother Naija auditions.

However, Nina while getting into the house fell for Miracle charming appearance and handsome look. However, she confessed that no matter what she will never leave her real boyfriend Collins.

Her relationship with Collins seems pretty serious, but her romantic moment with Miracle in the Big Brother Naija house created a lot of controversy in Nigeria, most especially on social media, as people keep talking about their relationship.

In an interview with Toolz, Nina confessed that she started a relationship with Miracle despite being with Collins because she is human and has feelings, so she can never predict what happens. She also stated that she and Miracle had a bond and their relationship had a natural flow, so she believed this was supposed to happen.

She was often spotted with Miracle doing various activities together and fans wants to believe that Nina has finally found her happiness and true love. In November 2018, her official Instagram account was hacked and the hackers demanded N800,000 from her before her account can be released or they will expose her private chats to the world. Her Instagram account was later recovered by a group of fans known as “Team Nina”.

Nina is currently one of the richest and most influential model, television personality and social media personality in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $85,000.
