Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has responded to the Northern Elders Forum suggestion that the Nigerian government should allow the South East to separate to avert another civil war. The group has previously urged President Muhammadu Buhari to enable the Igbos to have their own country in order to avoid another civil war, according to Naija News.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Nnamdi Kanu praised the Northern Elders Forum position as reasonable, but stressed that Biafra also encompasses the South-South.
Nnamdi Kanu prays and wishes that President Muhammadu Buhari will listen to the Northern Elders Forum suggestion by granting Biafrans referendum.
