Nnamdi Kanu To Appear In Court On Monday Despite Judges Vacation

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is set to appear in court on Monday 26th July 2021 as earlier scheduled to continue his treason trial leveled against him by the Nigeria state. It was widely reported that Nnamdi Kanu’s case may not come up on the said date due to an annual vacation for Nigerian Judges. The Judges’ Vacation is expected to last till 17th September 2021.

However, in a statement made available to our reliable source on Friday, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor revealed that the case will be called up for hearing as scheduled.

According to his words; “We have just received a confirmation from Federal High Court Abuja that Hearing on our client’s case will still go on as earlier scheduled on Monday next week being the 26th Day of July 2021,” Nnamdi Kanu lawyer, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor stated.

The lawyer also called for the prayers of Nnamdi Kanu by his supporters and those that believe in what he is fighting for.

According to his words; “Remember Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and the entire Legal team in your prayers. Thank you all and remain blessed,” Nnamdi Kanu lawyer, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor stated.
