Nollywood stars hold a candle light service in honor and memory of late actor Obi Madubogu. The actor died on August 2017 from diabetes complications. Due to his contribution in the growth of the Nigerian entertainment industry before his death, many Nollywood stars have decided to come out to hold a candle light session in honor of Obi Madubogu.
The event which was held at the National Studium in Surulere, Lagos saw personalities like Charles Inojie, Ebele Okaro, Desmond Elliot, Mercy Macjoe, Ogbonna Mary and Emeka Amugo in attendance.
Before his death, Madubogu was reportedly in and out of coma since February 2017 and he eventually died after walking to the hospital to treat himself on August 2017.
