Nuella Njubigbo is a popular Nollywood actress, scriptwriter and a model. She was born on 18th March 1984 in Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 33 years old. She is very talented and very beautiful. She is currently married to Nollywood multiple award winning director Tchidi Chikere. She is fondly called Ella by her fans and close acquaintances.
After her primary and secondary school education, Nuella Njubigbo proceeded to Imo State University in Owerri and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration. After which she served in Delta State during her National Youth Service Corps program.
In 1999, Nuella Njubigbo joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and acted in her first movie “Royal Destiny” which brought her to limelight. Nuella Njubigbo has acted in over 90 Nollywood movies which include Royal Destiny, Open and Close, Heart of a Slave, Royal Grandmother, Royal Touch, Lord of Marriage, Evil Project, Life’s Incidence, etc.
In 2012, Nuella Njubigbo was nominated for the Rising Star Award category at the 2012 Nollywood Movies Awards. She has also won several movie awards which include Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Best Actress in Supporting Role at the City People Entertainment Awards. She is one of the most prominent faces in the Nigerian movies industry.
On 29th March 2014, Nuella Njubigbo got married to Nollywood multiple awards winning movie director, Tchidi Chikere in her family compound in Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and the marriage is blessed with a beautiful baby girl.
She has worked with prominent Nollywood stars like Ini Edo, Mercy Johnson, Desmond Elliot, Uche Jombo, Genevieve Nnaji, John Okafor, Pete Edochie, Ken Erics and lots of more.
Nuella Njubigbo is currently one of the richest and most influential actress in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $750,000.
