The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has slammed the Northern groups for placing a ₦100 million bounty on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s head. It was recently reported that 17 Northern groups on Thursday declared the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wanted over the killings and destruction of properties owned by Northerners in the south eastern region of the country.
While reacting, Ohanaeze Ndigbo made it known that the leadership of Miyetti Allah and Islamic terror groups are behind the killings and destruction of properties in the south eastern region of the country.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo made this disclosure in a statement that was released by the secretary general of the group, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro. The apex Igbo socio-cultural group went on and urged the northern groups to place their ₦100 million bounty on Miyetti Allah and the dead Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.
The northern group should look for a way to solve the problems of insecurity disturbing the region presently, instead of placing a 100 million Naira bounty on Nnamdi Kanu’s head,” Ohanaeze Ndigbo stated.
