Okawa Shaznay is a popular Nollywood actress and a model from Cameroon. She was born on 5^th May 1986 in Bamenda, North West Province of Cameroon. She is currently 31 years old. She is very beautiful, talented and gifted in acting. She was the former Miss Cameroon based in the United States of America.

After her primary school education, Okawa Shaznay proceeded to Presbyterian Secondary School Mankon, Bamenda, Cameroon and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.

After her secondary school education, Okawa Shaznay relocated to United States of America with her family in 2005. She attended Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas in the United States of America and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 2009.

Okawa Shaznay developed interests in performing arts at an early age taking part in stage plays and small film projects in her home country of Cameroon. While in United States of America, she joined the All African Theater Group and played the role of Ezinne in Chinua Achebe’s “Things Fall Apart”.

In 2004, Okawa Shaznay joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and acted in her first movie “Master DJ” which was shot in Cameroun. She rose to fame after starring in the blockbuster movie “Iyore” alongside with Rita Dominic and Joseph Benjamin.

In 2016, Okawa Shaznay became a worldwide celebrity after starring in the television series “Delilah: The Mysterious Case of Delilah Ambrose” the movie won her an award for Best TV Actress of the Year at the Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards.

In 2013, she was nominated for Most Promising Actress at the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards for her role in the movie “Cheaters” directed by the legendary African film director Frank Rajah Arase.

In 2016, she starred in the movie project “Refugees” which was filmed in Ghana in 2012 and completed in Atlanta, United States of America in 2013. In 2014, she starred in the blockbuster movie “Sisters at War” alongside with Jackie Appiah and Yvonne Nelson.

In 2014, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards for her role in the movie “Sisters at War” alongside with Jackie Appiah and Yvonne Nelson. In 2015, she was nominated for Best Actress of the Year in Africa at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards for her role in the movie “Iyore”. In 2016, she won the award for Best TV Actress of the Year at the Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards for her role in the movie “Delilah: The Mysterious Case of Delilah Ambrose”.
