Orezi Biography and Net Worth

Esegine Orezi Allen popularly known by his stage name as Orezi is a famous Nigerian singer, songwriter, stage performer and a recording artist. He was born on 28th March 1986 in Owhelogbo, Isoko, Delta State in the south southern part of Nigeria. He is currently 32 years old. He is very handsome, gifted and talented.

Orezi was born and raised in Owhelogbo, Isoko, Delta State in the south southern part of Nigeria. He is the first child in a family of five children. Orezi completed his primary school education in Isoko, Delta State, Nigeria and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After completing his primary school education, Orezi proceeded to Command Secondary School in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate.

After completing is primary and secondary school education, Orezi proceeded to University of Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Region Planning in 2008. After which he completed the mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

In early 2009, Orezi began his music career and released his first hit single “I No Fit Lie”. He has worked with several producers including Kiddominat, Del B, and Dokta Frabz, among others. In 2010, Orezi released another hit single “High Blood Pressure”. The music video for the song was endorsed by MTV Base. In late 2010, he released another hit single titled “Jamilaya” featuring DJ Jam-Jam. The song “Jamilaya” received positive reviews by music critics.

In early 2011, Orezi was featured on the track “Emoti” alongside with Danagog, Igho, and DJ Debby. It was played on Trace TV, MTV Base, Sound City and One Music. Orezi became a public figure in Nigerian after collaborating with DJ Jimmy Jatt. He was featured on DJ Jimmy Jatt’s song titled “Komije” which he featured alongside with Sauce Kid, Muna, and Igho. Orezi popularity grew with the release of his hit song “Rihanna” in 2013.

Orezi released the music video for his song “Booty Bounce” which featured cameo appearances from Karen Igho, Bovi, Wande Coal, Kay Switch, Sina Rambo, Vina, Danagog, Skuki, and General Pype, among others. For several weeks, the song was one of the top ten African songs on Trace Urban, Channel O, and MTV. The music video for the song received a nomination in the Reggae/Dancehall category at the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards. 

In 2010, Orezi performed at the 2010 Star Trek musical concert tour, held in Kaduna and Markurdi respectively. He also performed during Nigeria’s 50th Independence Anniversary celebration held on 1st October 2010, which was organized by the Kaduna State Government in 2010.

In early 2011, Orezi performed at DJ Jimmy Jatt’s “Jump Off Show”. The show was held at the Get Arena in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. He has performed at several club tours, both in Nigeria and South Africa. He was part of the Emoti Tour organized by DJ Debby. He has also performed in several clubs in South Africa. In 2012, Orezi performed at the Rhythm Unplugged concert in Ibadan, Oyo State in the south western part of Nigeria.

In 2013, Orezi released his first biggest hit single “Rihana” a song that gave him global fame and brought him to limelight. After which he signed a record contract deal with Sprisal record label. The music video for the song “Rihana” was shot in South Africa. When the song was released and sent to radio stations across Nigeria, it received positive acceptance from the general public.

The music video for the hit single “Rihana” was said to have cost his record label over #7.3 million. In 2013, he got signed to Davido’s record label HKN. In 2013, he released another hit single titled “You Garrit”. In 2014, he released another new single titled “Shoki” which fans are already screaming to.

Orezi in the cause of his career as a musician has won several awards which include Best Club Banger at the Prestigious Channel O Music Video Awards, Best New Act at the UNILAG Awards, Dancehall Artiste at the South South Music Awards and Best Reggae at the Nigerian Music Video Awards.
In 2011, he was said to have been arrested for Drugs in Dubai.

In March and September 2014, Orezi released the French version of his single “Shoki” as well as the music video for his “You Garrit” single, respectively. The hit song shoki was a controversial one in Nigeria, Orezi claimed he was the original owner of the song and dance steps that came with the song shoki, Lil Kesh came out with his shoki remix version, a song that featured music stars Olamide and Davido, other cameos in the video includes YBNL underground artistes and HKN Gang.

In September 2015, Orezi released his debut studio album titled “Ghen Ghen” featuring collaborations with 9ice, Davido, Flavour, Ice Prince, M.I Abaga, Timaya and Wizkid. In November 2015, Orezi released the music video for his hit single “Ogede” featuring Wizkid and Timaya.

In 2016, he released another hit single “Double Your Hustle” a song which talks about not giving up in life, persistency and believing in what you do. A song which basically talked about his life while growing up.

Orezi has a mansion on the Island of Lagos, Nigeria. According to a credible source, the house is worth about #121 million. He also has in his garage, a brand new black BMW X6 which costs about #25 million, wine colored Range Rover Sports car which cost about #30 million and a one white colored Toyota Prado SUV which cost about #20 million. He is currently married with beautiful kids

Orezi is currently one of the richest and most influential artist in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $1.2 million.
