Former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Peter Obi announced his resignation in a letter, addressed to the National Chairman of the party. According to our reliable source, it was learnt that his resignation from the party maybe connected to the fact that his chances at winning the Party’s primaries were very slim.
In the letter, he revealed that he has also informed the chairman of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in his ward, Agulu Ward II, of his official exit from the party. It is not yet clear if Peter Obi will run for the President under another party or not.
