A Journalist who goes by the name Oma Akatugba has stated that Peter Obi is in the wrong country, he is supposed to be in America or Germany. Since Peter Obi made his interest known in becoming the next president of Nigeria, his interested in contesting for the 2023 general elections and his moved from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Labour Party has attracted lots of interest, not only from Nigerians online but also from Nigerians outside the country and in the Diaspora, who feel he is the right person to lead Nigeria to prosperity.
There wouldn’t be a day when one top personality would not speak about the former Anambra state governor, and now knowing he would be facing the likes of Atiku and Tinubu in the upcoming 2023 presidential election, it would be a good race to see who would eventually scale through.
In support of Peter Obi, a Germany-based international sports broadcaster, Oma Atatugba took to his verified Twitter handle to say Peter Obi is in the wrong country and he is supposed to be in America or Germany as he is a true example of a servant leader, the type of a leader a dying nation like Nigeria needs. Looking at the context of the tweet, one will understand the feelings of the journalist, especially with the way things have been going on in the country for years.
