Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party has sent a message to all his supporters, urging them to have respect for every candidate of other political parties. Peter Obi sent the message of appeal to his supporters today via his verified Twitter account.
While sending the message to his supporters who are campaigning for him, he first introduced his nationality and the goal behind his aspiration for the position he is running for. According Peter Obi tweet; “I am a Nigerian running to serve every Nigerian.”
In a bid to advise his followers and those who are doing everything they can to publicize him ahead of the forthcoming 2023 Presidential Elections, he made an appeal to the supporters, urging them not to resort to disrespecting other candidates irrespective of their tribes, religion recognition and their personality.
“I urge a show of respect for every candidate, tribe, religion, and person.” He concluded.
Recall that, few weeks ago, Peter Obi also made a post addressing his supporters that, inasmuch as he feels privileged to have them campaigning for him and supporting him, he is not a party to the violence and attacks that some of them carry out in the process. Having made a similar tweet today shows that, some of the supporters do not support the principle of peace and tolerance that Peter Obi represent and uphold.
