Prince Nwafor is a fast rising Nollywood actor, model and a comedian. He was born and raised in Enugu in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is known for his dedication and enthusiasm towards acting. He started acting right from a tender age during his secondary school days in Enugu.
After his primary and secondary school education, Prince Nwafor proceeded to Abia State University, Uturu and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts. He was known to be an active member of the theatre club in his department in the university.
Prince Nwafor joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) far back in 2003 after registering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria in Enugu. He then started attending auditions in different locations both in Enugu, Asaba and Lagos. He was given minor roles like bodyguard, palace guard, house boy, servant and unimportant character.
In 2009 Prince Nwafor became a household name after starring as a lead character in the popular movie “Forgive Me Father”. His funny character, style and techniques in acting attracted him dearly to many people who automatically became his fans.
Prince Nwafor has acted in over 50 Nollywood movies which include Really Surprising, Forgive Me Father, Where Money Never Sleeps, 33 Minutes War Front, Evil Coffin, Money Helps, etc.
On Sunday 17th April 2017, Prince Nwafor got married to his beautiful fiancée Amy. His best man during the wedding was Nollywood renowned famous actor Osita Iheme and Nollywood young teenage actress Regina Daniels was the chief bridesmaid for his bride. The wedding was truly a Nollywood style wedding attended by top Nollywood celebrities and very important persona from the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Prince Nwafor has also won several movie awards in Nigeria which include Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the City Peoples Entertainment Awards and Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Prince Nwafor is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $600,000.
