Prophet Odumeje Prophecy On Anambra Election Fails To Manifest

Controversial Nigerian self-acclaimed prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje Indaboski had predicted on Sunday, 16th October, 2021 that the November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship election will not take place as scheduled. However, the election went as planned on Saturday, November 6, 2021 against his prediction.

Before Odumeje prophecy in October, there was unrest in the South Eastern part of Nigeria. Security threats in the region recently were a thing of concern; and many had expressed fear that the November 6, Governorship election might be bloody.

Despite the obvious security threats, the Independent National Electoral Commissioner (INEC) had maintained that the commission was ready to conduct the election as earlier scheduled. However, Prophet Odumeje had claimed while addressing his congregation on Sunday, October 16, 2021 that there will not be an election in Anambra, noting that he foresees violence.

Odumeje told his church members that he foresaw massive killings in Anambra. The controversial clergyman said he had been praying to God over the much-anticipated elections. Despite Odumeje’s prophecy about the election, the voting exercise was relatively peaceful. Unfortunately in some local government in Anambra state, many voters didn’t come out to exercise their franchise due to fear of Unknown gunmen.

However, the self proclaim Biafra National Guard (BNG) that claim to be the military armed forces of Biafra also vowed that the Anambra election will not hold on November 6, 2021. They made the vow in a live broadcast by their commander General Orji, who vow that they will deal with any entity that comes out to cast vote on that day. But unfortunately, the election took place and many people came out en masses to cast their votes.
