Simon Ekpa Declares Sit-At-Home As Nnamdi Kanu Faces Trial

Simon Ekpa, one of the disciples of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has declared a sit-at-home order for all Igbos, particularly the supporters of Biafra agitation. The order according to Ekpa, is in solidarity for the IPOB leader who is expected to appear before a Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday 26th July 2021.

Simon Ekpa made the declaration in a tweet on his official Twitter handle. He also enjoined all supporters of Biafra freedom to update their social media profile pictures to that of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

According to his words; “Everyone in Biafraland must observe sit at home today in solidarity with our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra as a whole. Today, Biafra goes to court.

“All Biafrans and lovers of freedom on Social Media are hereby advised to change their profile pictures to that of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for just this day being 26th day of July 2021,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the IPOB had disengaged Simon Ekpa from reporting on Radio Biafra a few weeks after he was appointed to announce on the platform pending Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s release.

According to the IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, Simon Ekpa was sacked for refusing to follow laid down rules of operation in Radio Biafra.

However, Simon Ekpa had vowed that the secessionist group would clamp down on Southeastern leaders who are allegedly conniving with the Federal Government to destroy their leader.

Simon Ekpa, who was recently appointed to host programme on Radio Biafra, made the remark via a post on his official Facebook page. Simon Ekpa who is a Finnish, that is a dual citizen of both Nigeria and Finland, said the struggle for the actualization of Biafra is currently in a new dimension.

His post on Facebook reads; “The exposition continues. We will start visiting those that they have visited with offers in other to shot their mouth upon the abduction of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The struggle for Biafra is now in a different level and we are in a critical moment of the struggle where all hands must be on deck.

“If Nigeria terrorists’ Government approach you and offer you position in the government in order to keep mute on the abduction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and you accept the offer, instead of following Fr Mbaka’s step, you are a dead man walking, the spirit of Biafra and the ghost of 5 million Biafrans killed by Fulanis will strike you at the right time, it will come as a human being, as a spirit, as a nurture and in every form possible.

The broadcast start 10pm Biafra time. Don’t miss it. I am Simon Ekpa, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s disciple on Biafra restoration,” he stated on his official Facebook page.
