Sola Sobowale popularly known as Toyin Tomato is a famous Nollywood actress, producer, director, scriptwriter and a television personality. She was born on 26^th December 1965 in Ondo State in the south western part of Nigeria. She is currently 52 years old. She is very beautiful, gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

Sola Sobowale is originally from Ondo State in the south western part of Nigeria, where she completed her primary, secondary and tertiary education and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate, West African Senior School Certificate and Bachelor’s Degree. She started acting in 1992 and joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) as a member of the Awada Kerikeri Group under the leadership of Adebayo Salami. Over the years, she had written, scripted, co-scripted, directed and produced several Nigerian films.

In 2010, she scripted, produced and directed the popular movie “Ohun Oko Somida, a 2010 Nigerian film that stars popular actor Adebayo Salami. In 2004, she featured in the popular Nigerian drama film “Dangerous Twins” produced by Tade Ogidan, written and directed by Niji Akanni. In 2011, she featured in the popular Nollywood movie “Family on Fire” a movie produced and directed by Tade Ogidan.

In 2016 and 2017 respectively, she featured in the season one and season two of the popular Nollywood award winning movie “The Wedding Party” a movie she starred alongside with RMD, Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Ireti Doyle, Jide Kosoko and other top Nollywood celebrities. In 2009, she acted in the popular movie “Disoriented Generation”. In 2018, she acted in the popular movie “King of Boys”. She acts in both English and Yoruba speaking movies and play motherly roles in movies.

Sola Sobowale is currently married to Oludotun Sobowale and the marriage is blessed with five beautiful kids. She is no longer active in acting. She is base in the United Kingdom with her family, where she is performing her role as a good wife to her husband and a good mother to her children. Sola Sobowale in the cause of her acting career has won few awards which include Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the City People Entertainment Awards and Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

Sola Sobowale is currently one of the richest and most influential actress in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $450,000.
