In a recent news shared by Sahara reporters, the IPOB has claimed that those responsible for attacks in the South East are those who do not want Nnamdi Kanu out of detention. They claim that some of the recent killings, like the beheading of military couple in Imo state, and the killing of pregnant northerner and her 4 kids, were perpetrated days before the trial of Nnamdi Kanu at the federal high court, Abuja, which was aimed at stopping the Judiciary from releasing Nnamdi Kanu.
These gunmen who are causing terror in the south east using Nnamdi Kanu’s name, are not aware that they are only worsening the case for Nnamdi Kanu in prison by their constant attacks.
Recall that Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and charged for terrorism, and these gunmen are carrying out deadly attacks using Nnamdi Kanu’s name, which was the exact reason why Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in the first place.
If the attacks persist, it may be extremely difficult for Nnamdi Kanu to be released from prison, infact, the attacks by these Gunmen justifies the reason why he was arrested. 
The more Gunmen keep attacking and destroying government properties, the slimmer the chances of Nnamdi Kanu being released from detention. The IPOB therefore urge those responsible for all the attacks in the south east to desist before the rot of God catch up with them.
