Thierry Daniel Henry popularly known as Thierry Henry is a famous French professional and international football player, investor, entrepreneur and a philanthropist, who played as a forward striker for his country France national team and a former forward striker for English Premier League club Arsenal and Spanish club Barcelona.

He has been described as the king of football and a legendary and skillful football player by many sports analyst. He was born on 17th August 1977 in Les Ulis, France. He is currently 41 years old.

Thierry Henry is of Antillean heritage. His father’s name is Antoine while his mother’s name is Maryse. He was born and raised in Les Ulis, a suburb of Paris, the capital city of France. At the age of 7 years old, Thierry Henry showed his great potential in the game of football, prompting Claude Chezelle to recruit him to the local club CO Les Ulis.

Seeing his passion in football, his father pressured him to attend football training. In 1989, he joined the US Palaiseau, but after a year his father fell out with the club, so Thierry Henry was moved to Es Viry-Chatillon and played in the club for two years.

Thierry Henry began his professional football career for AS Monaco player at the age of 17 years old, a move that surprised soccer fans. In 2010, Thierry Henry joined the New York Red Bulls.

However, shortly after his transfer to Barcelona, it was announced that Thierry Henry and his wife are firing for a divorce. The decree for divorce was granted for them in September 2007. Their separation concluded in December 2008 when Thierry Henry paid Merry Claire a divorce settlement close to her requested sum of £10 million.
