10Bugatti Chiron

The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engine two-seater sports car developed and manufactured in Molsheim, France by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron. The Chiron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show on 1 March 2016. The car is based on the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car. The car is named after the Monegasque driver Louis Chiron. The car shares the name with the 1999 Bugatti 18/3 Chiron concept car. 9. Pagani Huayra BC

The Pagani Huayra BC (waira) is a track focused version of the Huayra which was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The Pagani Huayra BC is named after the late Benny Caiola, a friend of Horacio Pagani and the first Pagani customer. The Pagani Huayra BC uses an all-new Xtrac 7-speed sequential manual transmission. The Pagani Huayra is a mid-engine sports car produced by Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani, succeeding the company’s previous offering, the Zonda. It is named after Huyra-tata, a Quechua wind god. The Huayra was named “The Hypercar of the Year 2012” by Top Gear Magazine. On 11th February 2015 it was reported that the Pagani Huayra BC has been sold out. The Pagani Huayra BC was officially debuted online with several pictures in a press release on 25th January 2011.  The official world debut was at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show held in March 2011. The Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio is a concept car produced by the Italian design house Pininfarina. The car is a coach built barchetta which is based on the mechanical underpinnings of the Ferrari 458 Spider. It was presented at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a tribute to the former chairman of the company and the infamous automotive designer, Sergio Pininfarinam who died on 3rd July 2012. 7. Aston Martin Valkyrie

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is a limited production hybrid sports car collaboratively built by British automobile manufacturer Aston Martin, Red Bull Racing and several other manufacturers. The sports car is a product of collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing to develop a track-oriented car entirely usable and enjoyable as a road car. The car’s makers claim the title of fastest street-legal car in the world for it. Adrian Newey, Red Bull Racing’s Chief Technical Officer and the world’s most successful F1 designer aided in the design of the car. Its main competitor is the Mercedes-AMG One. A show car was initially unveiled to the public in order to give the public an idea of its design. The exterior of the car is extremely aerodynamic for a sports car, with an extensively open underfloor, that works on the principle of the venturi effect, that can fit an entire person, and is capable of producing 1,814 kg of downforce at high speed. While the interior design was leaked online on 20 June 2017 and gave a preview of the car’s design. The interior has no gauge cluster, but rather a collection of screens. 6. Bugatti Veyron

The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engine sports car, designed and developed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in Molsheim, France, by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti. It was named after the racing driver Pierre Veyron. The original version has a top speed of 407 km/h (253 mph). It was named Car of the Decade and best car award in 2000 to 2009 by the BBC television programme “Top Gear”. The standard Bugatti Veyron also won Top Gear’s Best Car Driven All Year award in 2005. The Super Sport version of the Bugatti Veyron is recognized by Guinness Worlds Records as the fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph). The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse was the fastest roadster in the world, reaching an averaged top speed of 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph) in a test on 6 April 2013. The Bugatti Veyron’s chief designer was Hartmut Warkub and the exterior was designed by Jozef Kaban of Volkswagen, with much of the engineering work being conducted under the guidance of engineering chief Wolfgang Schreiber. The Bugatti Veyron includes a sound system designed and built by Burmester Audiosysteme. 5. Lykan Hypersport

The Lykan Hypersport is a Lebanese limited production supercar manufactured by W Motors, a United Arab Emirates based company, founded in 2012 in Lebanon with the collaboration of Lebanese, and Italian engineers. It is the first sports car to be designed and produced indigenously in the Middle East. The production of the car was limited to a planned total of just seven units. The first pre-production of Lykan HyperSport was unveiled to the public at the Qatar Motor Show in February 2013. The Lykan HyperSport was one of the most expensive production car at time of its production. The HyperSport is the first car to have headlights with embedded jewels; they contain titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds. The car also uses a holographic display system on the centre console with interactive motion features, as well as gold stitching on the seats. There is a discrepancy among sources as to how many cars have been sold, with reports varying from four to seven sales. 4. McLaren P1 LM

The McLaren P1 LM is a limited-production plug-in hybrid sports car produced by British automobile manufacturer Mclaren Automotive. Debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, sales of the P1 began in the United Kingdom in October 2013 and all 375 units were sold out by November 2013. Production ended in early December 2015. The United States accounted for 34% of the units and Europe accounted for 26%. It is considered by the automotive press to be the successor to the F1, utilizing hybrid power and Formula 1 technology, but does not have the same three-seat layout. It was later confirmed that the Speedtail served as the actual successor to the F1. Like the F1, the McLaren P1 has a mid-engine, rear wheel drive, a design that used a carbon fibre monocoque and roof structure safety cage concept called MonoCage, which is a development of the MonoCell first used in the MP4-12C and then in subsequent models. The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is an open racing prototype with an extreme design and breathtaking performance. With a maximum output of 552 kW / 750 hp, the Veneno Roadster accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and top speed stands at 355 km/h.  The Lamborghini Veneno is a limited production high performance sports car manufactured by Italian automobile manufacturer Lamborghini. Based on the Lamborghinin Aventador, the Veneno was developed to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. It was introduced at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. It is currently one of the most expensive production cars in the world. The prototype, Car Zero is finished in Grigio Telesto and includes an Italian flag on both sides of the car. 2. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

The Koenigsegg CCX Trevita is a mid-engine sports car manufactured by Swedish automotive manufacturer Koenigsegg Auto motive AB. The project began with the aim of making a global car, designed and engineered to comply with global safety and environment regulations, particularly to enter the United States car market. To sell cars in the United States of America many alterations were made to the design of the CCR. The previously used Ford Modular engine was replaced by an in-house developed Koenigsegg engine designed to run on 91 octane fuel, readily available in the United States of America and to meet the Californian emission standards. The name CCX is an abbreviation for Competition Coupe X, the X commemorating the 10th anniversary of the completion and test drive of the first CC prototype in 1996. As for power, the CCXR Trevita isn’t short on it as 1,018 horsepower is delivered from a twin-supercharged 4.8-liter V-8. The Sweptail by Rolls-Royce is a one-off large luxury car made in the United Kingdom by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The Sweptail by Rolls-Royce was commissioned in 2013 as a one-off automobile at the request of a super-yacht and aircraft specialist who had a unique idea in mind. It is the most expensive new automobile car in the world, costing around $13 million, surpassing the Bugatti Chiron and emerging as the most expensive car in the world. The Sweptail by Rolls-Royce is hand-built, and inspired by coach building of the 1920s and 1930s. Giles Taylor, director of design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars described the Sweptail by Rolls-Royce as the automotive equivalent of Haute couture.
