Nollywood diva and ex-beauty queen Regina Askia in the early 90s secretly got married to Rudolph Williams. It took about a week for people to find out that she is already married. Shortly after her wedding she quit Nollywood and relocated to the United States of America with her husband. She is currently a practicing and registered nurse in a reputable hospital in New York City in the United States of America, where she currently lives with her husband. Regina Askia together with her husband has two lovely children Teesa Olympia and Rudolph Junior. Regina Askia also has a step daughter named Stephanie Hornecker from her husband previous relationship and the young girl is now an international model. Regina Askia started her acting career in 1993 when she played the role of a gold digger in an NTA soap opera titled “Fortunes”.

Nollywood popular actress Victoria Inyama quit acting and relocated to the United Kingdom after getting married. She began her acting career in 1995. During an interview with the media, she stated that it was Veteran Nollywood actor Alex Usifo who brought her into the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood. After getting married to Ben Okri, she quit acting and relocated to the United Kingdom and focused on her family. She is currently in the United Kingdom studying Counseling at the Lewisham Counseling School of London in the United Kingdom. She has also attended the Greenwich School of Management which is located in London, United Kingdom.
3. Sandra Achums
Sandra Achums was a popular actress back then, but she dumps fame for marriage. In 2006, Sandra Achums relocated to Germany where she married a Nigerian businessman based in Germany. Sandra Achums currently lives in Germany with her children and her husband who is known as Tony. In 1995, Sandra Achums made her entrance into the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood with the movie titled “Deadly Affair”. In the movie she acted alongside with Nollywood actors like Dolly Unachukwu, Jide Kosoko and Emeka Ike. The movie brought her to limelight and gave her a lot of advantage in the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood.
4. Rita Nzelu
After Nollywood talented actress Rita Nzelu got married in 2004, she decided to build her home first and then return back to Nollywood later. She did that for the first ten years or so and finally left the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood to attend to her family in the United Kingdom. Since she returned years back, it has not been funny for the couple. The long hours on locations took toll on the marriage. Rita Nzelu is a mother to beautiful teenage children. She is popularly known for her role in the Nollywood blockbuster comedy movie “Ukwa” a movie she starred alongside with Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Amaechi Muonagor and late Sam Loco Efe. 5. Dakore Egbuson
Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson was trending on the movie scene years back. But after getting married she took a break in acting and decided to focus on her marriage. The beautiful and talented Nollywood actress is currently married with two beautiful children. Dakore Egbuson was born in Bayelsa State in the south southern part of Nigeria as the first child of her parents. She also has a younger brother named Timini Egbuson who is also involved in the entertainment industry. She attended Corona School and Federal Government Girls College in Lagos and Bauchi respectively. She studied Mass Communication at the University of Lagos but had to drop out from school due to several strikes by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). In an interview with Linda Ikeja TV she gave reasons stating as follows; “I guess people forget that when you are in fame or a celebrity you still have a normal life to live. Nollywood talented actress Uche Jombo secretly got married to Kenny Rodriguez in a low key wedding ceremony in the United States of America after her failed relationship to Ikechukwu Uche. After her wedding to her American husband Kenny Rodriguez, Uche Jombo quit acting and focused all her concentration and attention on her marriage. But during an interview in the media, she debunks the rumor that her marriage to Kenny Rodriguez has affected her acting career. In a chat with Sunday Scoop, she stated that the decision to choose movie roles carefully had nothing to do with her marriage. According to her words; “Marriage didn’t stop me from acting regularly on movies, even before I tied the knot, I had already started selecting role to act” she stated. It was later rumored that the union which is blessed with a son was in trouble due to misunderstanding. But luckily for her, she quickly addressed the issue on her Instagram page, pleading with bloggers to stop spreading fake news about her.

Georgina Onuoha is a popular Nollywood actress. She became a public figure after starring in the 2003 Nollywood blockbuster epic movie titled “Egg of Life” in which she played a lead role. She stopped appearing in movies after she got married to her husband who is a successful businessman based in the United State of America. She got married to an American based businessman who goes by the name Dr. Ifeanyi Igwegbe and the marriage is currently blessed with two beautiful daughters. Georgina Onuoha joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood in 1995 at a very tender age and rose to fame in 2003 after starring as a Led actress in the Nollywood epic movie Egg of Life. Her role in the 2003 epic movie titled “Egg of Life” won her the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. Unfortunately, in 2015, Georgina Onuoha divorced her husband Dr. Ifeanyi Igwegbe on the ground of domestic violence and left with her two lovely daughters.
