3. Davido

David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known by his stage name as Davido or OBO is a famous Nigerian singer, songwriter, recording artiste, stage performer, model, entrepreneur and a record label owner. He was born on 21st November 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America to Chief Adedeji and Mrs. Veronica Adeleke. He is currently 26 years old. His father is a billionaire and Nigerian business magnate while his late mother was a university lecturer before she died.

Davido is originally from Osun State in the south western part of Nigeria. He completed his primary school education in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America. After which he returned to Nigeria with his family and attended the British International College in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria and obtained his Senior School Certificate.

After completing his secondary school education, Davido proceeded to Oakwood University to study Business Administration but could not complete his studies because of his interest in music. Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known by his stage name as Wizkid or Star Boy is a famous Nigerian singer, songwriter, recording artiste, stage performer, entrepreneur, model and a record label owner. He was born on 16th July 1990 in Surulere, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. He is currently 28 years old. Wizkid grew up in an average rich family and an interfaith household with twelve female siblings and being the only male child and last baby in the family.

His mother is a Pentecostal Christian and his father practices Islamic religion. His parents wanted the best for him and planned to sponsor him to any level of his career in education, but his view was different to that of his parents. He wanted to become a famous musician after admiring the likes of Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade and Bob Marley, but his parents never supported his music ambition.

Wizkid completed both his primary and secondary school education in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. While still in school, Wizkid started pursuing his music career at the age of 11 years old with the stage name of Lil Prinz and released his first studio album in 2001 but it was not successful.

Wizkid later decided to further his studies. In 2009, he got admitted to Lagos State University (LASU), but he couldn’t concentrate in his studies and later drop out from school to focus on his craft. His parents later admitted him into a private university known as Lead City University in Lagos, but he dropped out after completing two sessions and decided to focus full time on his music career.

He was born on 15th March 1989 in Bariga, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria. He is currently 30 years old. He rap and sing mostly in Yoruba language and sometimes calls himself Olamide Baddo or Baddest Guy Ever Liveth.

After completing his primary and secondary school education, Olamide went ahead and studied at Tai Solarin University of Education in Lagos State, Nigeria. In 2000, he decided to pursue a career in music. In 2010, he performed at the Hip Hop World Awards. In 2011, he was signed to ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes Record Label. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of YBNL Nation Record Label and also one of the richest musicians in Africa.
