It is in the difficult times that we are growing and you can’t just rebuke everything hard. We have got to endure it and fight the good fight of faith and pass the test. People in tough times don’t mean they don’t have a great attitude. True faith activates God power.
I am not trying to follow a set of rules and stuff. I am just living my life. Every day is a gift from God. There is no guarantee of tomorrow, so that tells me to see the good in this day to make the most of it. My message is that God is a good God.
A disagreement or incident involving someone who is not that important to you, like a guy who cut you off in traffic or a rude cashier, is something that should roll off your shoulders. Save the effort for resolving conflicts with the people you cherish.
The older I get, the better I understand that every day is a gift. Let go of offence, let go of fear, let go of revenge, don’t live angry. God has you in the palm of his hand. You won’t leave one second before your time. If God wants you to be here, then you are going to be here.
I don’t focus on the critics. Everyone who is making any difference in any field of his life has critics. As long as I feel like I am doing what I am supposed to be doing, then I don’t worry about it. If we say it long enough eventually we are going to reap a harvest. We are going to get exactly what we are saying. We live in a culture that relishes tearing others down. It is ultimately more fulfilling, though, to help people reach their goals. Instead of feeling jealous, remember: If God did it for them, he can do it for you.
The ultimate connection is when you are connected to the creator of the universe. In difficult times, we are not supposed to quit believing; we are not supposed to quit growing. There is no greater investment in life than in being a people builder. Relationships are more important than our accomplishments.
I believe God is keeping the records, and I believe you will be rewarded even in this life. Somehow, some way, God will make it up to you. It may be he protected you from an accident you never knew. You can’t give God something without God giving you more in return, whether it is peace or joy or satisfaction.
Well I think a lot of times we are putting things off and I am going to do it later. I am going to break this bad habit or I am going to pursue this dream or I am going to treat my spouse better. God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. You need to see yourself as God sees you.
Most people already know what they are doing wrong. When I get them to church I want to tell them that you can change. I say, don’t try to fight your own battles because God will do it. My personality is motivating and encouraging. And so I am just being who God made me to be.
It doesn’t matter who likes you or doesn’t like you, all that matters is that God likes you. He accepts you, he approves of you. You cannot let where you are today cause you to get stuck. I am going to be my best right now. That is what faith is all about.
When I grew up, the Devil was a reason why I had a headache or the Devil was the reason I got mad today. We always blamed the Devil. I think today when I say the enemy, I like to make it broader. Sometimes the Enemy can be our own thoughts.
Isn’t it funny how babies laugh a lot? I read a toddler, a young child laughs 300 times a day. The average adult laughs, like, four times a day. God put it in them. He put the laugh in us, but I think sometimes we let life get us down, you know, have bad breaks, and we lose our breaks.
I am healthy as can be, not an ache or a pain. A lot of my prayer is thanking the Lord that I am healthy. I pray for long life and good health. Indeed, it is as important to learn how to receive a blessing as it is to be willing to give one.
Faith activates God, but fear activates the enemy. God wants us to prosper financially, to have plenty of money, to fulfill the destiny He has laid out for us. If you give, you will be blessed. You can be happy where you are.
Why don’t you start believing that no matter what you have or haven’t done, that your best days are still out in front of you. You may make some mistakes, but that doesn’t make you a sinner. You have got the very nature of God on the inside of you.
