The estranged deputy leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Uche Mefor had on Sunday challenged the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to a public oath to prove that he has never collected money from any Nigerian politician in his life before. One of the reasons Uche Mefor relationship with Nnamdi Kanu hit the rocks was because he disagreed with Nnamdi Kanu on the modus operandi of the controversial organization.
Taking to his popular Facebook page, Uche Mefor insinuates that Nnamdi Kanu is a hypocrite. He challenged Nnamdi Kanu to swear that he hasn’t collected any money from any Nigerian politician before. He challenged Nnamdi Kanu to make a public oath and swear that he has never collected money from Nigerian politicians since he was born. Unfortunately, Nnamdi Kanu has not replied him yet.
Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) headed by Nnamdi Kanu is canvassing and agitating for the Republic of Biafra. They are working to reclaim all the lands in the south east and south southern part of Nigeria. But because of the great misunderstanding between Nnamdi Kanu and Uche Mefor, the dream of declaring Biafra an independent state might prove very difficult actualize.
News reports reaching us says that apart from resigning as the IPOB deputy leader, Uche Mefor has also floated a new radio station called Biafra Human Rights and Freedom Radio. With the recent happenings, there seems to be a strong misunderstanding between IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu and his former deputy, Uche Mefor.
Uche Mefor, who was formerly Nnamdi Kanu right-hand man and former deputy leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), deleted his Facebook page and disappeared into the thin air. Barely two weeks after the report, Uche Mefor has officially dumped the Biafra Radio, which Nnamdi Kanu is the Director and floated his own radio station.
Uche Mefor was formerly the deputy leader of IPOB leader until his opinion and that of Nnamdi Kanu begins to change drastically, especially with Nnamdi Kanu claims that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead and had since been replaced by Jubril from Sudan.
According to report, Nnamdi Kanu stated in the past that Uche Mefor had on several occasions cautioned him on his claim that President Muhammadu Buhari was dead and had since been replaced by Jubril from Sudan. Apart from this, Uche Mefor had also called for a change of approach and attitude among IPOB members but his appeals were met with verbal Assaults from members of the group.
Unfortunately, Uche Mefor is not longer with IPOB and he is now doing everything he can to stop the group from actualizing their dream. It was reported in the past that after the misunderstanding between Uche Mefor and Nnamdi Kanu escalated, Nnamdi Kanu had no choice but to dismiss him from being his deputy since he is challenging his leadership, out of annoyance Uche Mefor quit IPOB entirely and started doing everything he can to stop the group from succeeding in their quest for the republic of Biafra.
Right now, Uche Mefor has accused Nnamdi Kanu of collecting money from Nigerian politicians. He also accused Nnamdi Kanu of being autocratic, arrogant and fraudulent and challenges him to swear to a public oath if he hasn’t collected money from any Nigerian politician before. Unfortunately, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not replied Uche Mefor on his controversial claim.
