Ugezu J Ugezu is a popular Nollywood director, actor, producer, scriptwriter, filmmaker, songwriter, singer and a musician. He was born and raised in Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is very talented and creative. After his primary school education, he attended Aguleri High School where he obtained his Senior School Certificate (SSCE).

After his secondary school education Ugezu J Ugezu attended Enugu State University of Science and Technology in Enugu and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration.

After his graduation from the university, Ugezu J Ugezu joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2000 and started professionally as a movie director before moving to acting and producing. He has directed and acted in more than 80 Nollywood movies which include Boys from Holland, Marry Who you Love, Akweke, Bridge of Contract, Udu Bundle, Echoes of Love, Jewel of the Sun, etc.

He has worked with Nollywood celebrities like Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikedieze, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, Ken Erics, Ngozi Ezeonu, Ini Edo, Tonto Dikeh, Joyce Kalu, Kenneth Okonkwo, Zubi Michael, Chacha Eke and many more. He is fondly called Nollywood icon because his creativity. He has been named by many as Nollywood most creative movie director. He is a good script writer and also a good actor. Ugezu J Ugezu has also produced his own movies making him a well respected personality in Nollywood.

He has won several African Movie Awards such as Best Movie Director in Nigeria at the African Movie Academy Awards and Most Prominent Director in Nigeria at the African Magic Viewer Choice Awards. Ugezu J Ugezu is currently married to a beautiful lady and the couple is blessed with beautiful kids.
