Vincent Opurum is a famous Nollywood actor, model and a television personality. He is popularly known for playing romantic roles in movies. He was born and bred in the city of Kaduna, Kaduna State in the northern part of Nigeria, where he completed both his primary and secondary school education and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.

He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. He knows how to interpret his roles very well and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

Vincent Opurum is originally from Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria, but was born and bred in Kaduna State in the northern part of Nigeria. He is currently a Peace Ambassador.

He started his acting career in 2000 and acted in his first movie titled “Pain of a Teenage Mother” a movie which was sponsored by the Ministry of Women Affairs Commission. The story was about teenage mothers and the pains they go through when they are denied by the society they live in.

According to him, popular Nollywood actor, Ramsey Nouah was his role model and was the one that inspired him to join the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood). In 2003, Vincent Opurum relocated to Lagos to pursue him career as an actor.

Vincent Opurum rose to fame after starring in several Nollywood movies. He has acted in more than 100 Nollywood movies. In 2014, he acted in the movie “Shattered Soul”. In 2015, he acted in the movie “Broken Soul”. In 2016, he acted in the movie “Virgin Bride”. Vincent Opurum is popularly known for playing romantic roles in movies just like his role model Ramsey Noah.

He has acted with several Nollywood celebrities such as Uche Jombo, Genevieve Nnaji, Chika Ike, Mercy Johnson, Chacha Eke, Desmond Elliot, Rita Dominic, Ruth Kadiri, Rubby Orjiakor, Ken Erics, Yul Edochie, Onny Michael, amongst others.

According to him, his hobbies are football, lawn tennis, table tennis, basketball, reading and watching movies. He has been rated as one of the most handsome actors in Nollywood and women cannot resist his attractive and charming looks.

Vincent Opurum in the cause of his career as an actor has been nominated for several awards which include Most Promising Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award and Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the City People Entertainment Awards.

In 2011, he was rumored to be in a romantic relationship with Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh. In 2018, Vincent Opurum got married to Nollywood actress Salma Aminu in Lokoja, the capital city of Kogi State in the middle belt part of Nigeria and the marriage ceremony was attended by top Nollywood celebrities.
