The spokesperson of national consultative forum, Dr. Yinusa Tanko during his interview with Arise Television, has stated that the forum is working to see that both Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso come together as a single force in the 2023 presidential election.
As captured in the trending video, Dr. Yinusa Tanko stated that it will be a good thing if Peter Obi who is well grounded in the southern part of the country and who has already won the hearts of Nigerians especially the youths and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the new Nigeria people’s party can come together to unite ahead of the 2023 presidential election. 
He described Rabiu Kwankwaso as someone who is also grounded in the northern politics and loved by the Northerners, he has no doubt that the two coming together as one will truly be a force in the 2023 presidential election. Yinusa Tanko said that it is an idea which is already conceived by the national consultative forum and they are already working towards it.
