We Don't Want Biafra – Governor Hope Uzodinma Lamented

We are not in war with Nigeria, we don’t want Biafra Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State lamented. Governor Hope Uzodinma has stated that what the Igbos need at this point in time is not separatism as exemplified by the Biafra agitation.

Speaking at the first South-East security meeting in Owerri, Governor Hope Uzodinma described the insinuation that Igbos wants to break away from Nigeria as erroneous.

In the meeting, which was attended by his counterparts from the other states in the South-East as well as security chiefs and other stakeholders in the region, the governor said Ndigbo has not been fairly treated in the Nigerian federation and what it needs is justice, equity and fairness and not separatism.
