Why Is IPOB And MASSOB Agitating Separately Despite Working Towards The Same Goal?

The ongoing agitation in the South East by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in a bid to actualize the Biafra nation has been in existence for quite some time now despite the government being against the activities of these IPOB members. Amid the agitation which has spread throughout the country like a wildfire thereby giving rise to the ongoing Oduduwa agitation.

We all are aware of the fact that this very Biafra group seem to be divided into 2 main group, that is the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) headed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) headed by Ralph Uwazuruike.

Consequently, everyone is aware that these two groups are fighting towards achieving the same goal which is the actualization of their nation which is Biafra but yet they have decided to pursue their aims separately. We all are aware that there has never been a report about the leaders of these two groups meeting and discussing issues regarding the struggle which its root core was centered in the South East, as both of them don’t seem to be close allies.

So the question right now is, why is IPOB not in alliance with MASSOB since they are both fighting the same course? Could it mean that one of them actually has another motive for setting up the agitation? What is your opinion about it?
